Every year at the Eczema Association of Australasia Inc (EAA) we have about 12-16 medical students visit our office in groups of 4-6 to find out what it is exactly that we do!

The EAA works with a local University as part of their Community Placements Program. Even though this program takes organisation, time and effort, the EAA believes it is a great opportunity to engage with the medical community.

Our aim is that when these students finish their training and go out into the hospital system, they will have a better understanding of eczema and how a support group can really assist patients in managing their eczema more effectively.

The EAA always gets fantastic feedback from the students and they all go away with a little goodie bag of samples to try for themselves as we always promote to our members that trying skin products is a great way to find something that works effectively.

The EAA believes as part of working with the medical community it is important to participate in these types of activities
