GlobalSkin will be in Beijing, China, October 17–19, 2026, for the 16th RAJKA International Symposium on Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD), supporting a strong delegation of patient advocates to connect with researchers and healthcare professionals. During the event, we will champion meaningful patient involvement in atopic dermatitis research and care, highlight lived experiences and patient priorities, and strengthen ties with key stakeholders in the atopic dermatitis space.
A day before the commencement of the symposium, GlobalSkin CEO Jennifer Austin will attend the ISAD x WHO meeting, on Friday, October 16, 2026. It will provide a structured forum to advance two closely linked ISAD priorities in atopic dermatitis: the development of an international Treat-to-Target consensus project and the continuation of ISAD–WHO-related work on access to care and essential medicines.
As part of the scientific symposium, we are pleased to have our abstract, "Evaluating Patient-Reported Impact of Dermatological Diseases (PRIDD) Measure Among Patients with Atopic Dermatitis/Eczema in a Global Study", accepted as an oral poster presentation.
To strengthen Member representation and collaboration, GlobalSkin will host an Atopic Eczema Community Meeting, "Building Bridges: Empowering Patient Partnerships", on October 18, 4:30–6:30 PM CST, where participants will Identify practical ways to build stronger partnerships with HCPs/researchers and also learn about the Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas (GADA).
A Skin Matters Reception, organized and co-hosted by GlobalSkin and GADA, will follow on October 19, 12:45–1:45 PM CST, at the China World Hotel.
